Summer Skipping

The women we work with—and if we're being honest, all of us at Live better longer—spend a lot of time making to-do lists.

✔️ Workout

✔️ Call the dentist

✔️ Book the trip

✔️ Buy the gift

✔️ Answer the email

✔️ Figure out dinner

✔️ Schedule the appointment

There is always something that needs our attention.

What if you are doing less and not giving up on the things that make you feel your best?

Here's a few things we are skipping this summer:

Checking email before you've checked in with yourself.

The inbox will still be there after your coffee, walk, journal, stretch, or moment of quiet.

Eating every meal standing up.

Even five minutes sitting down sends a very different message to your nervous system.

Scrolling your way into sleep.

Your brain deserves a better runway into rest.

Abandoning strength training until September.

Summer is not a reason to stop building the muscle that supports your future health.

Booking every open weekend.

White space is not wasted space.

Waiting for vacation to recover.

Small moments of restoration count too.

Confusing busy with being alive.

One is a schedule. The other is a feeling.

What's on your Summer Skip List?

Here's to a summer filled with more presence, more energy, and a little less of what doesn't serve you. ☀️
