The Sweetest Way to Add More Fiber

We love berries at Live better longer. Berry season is here—so add them in!

Raspberries, strawberries, blackberries and blueberries are sweet, juicy and one of the easiest ways to add more fiber to your day. Just grab a handful, fill a bowl or toss them onto whatever you’re already eating.

Small fruit. Big benefits. Let’s dig in.

Why Fiber Matters

Fiber supports a healthy gut, steadier blood sugar, lower cholesterol and lasting fullness. At Live better longer, we recommend aiming for 30+ grams a day—and berries are a delicious way to help get there.

The Berry Fiber Lineup

Fiber amounts are approximate per one cup of fresh berries:

  • Raspberries: 8 grams

  • Blackberries: 7.6 grams

  • Blueberries: 3.6 grams

  • Strawberries: 3 grams

Raspberries and blackberries may be the fiber superstars, but every berry brings something good to the bowl.

Take Advantage of Berry Season

This week, think addition instead of restriction: Where can you add a cup of berries?

  • Stir them into Greek yogurt or cottage cheese

  • Add them to oatmeal or overnight oats

  • Toss them into a salad

  • Blend them into a protein smoothie

  • Pair them with nuts for an afternoon snack

  • Freeze fresh berries now to enjoy later

  • Eat them straight from the container—no recipe required

Fresh or frozen both count. Choose unsweetened frozen berries and you’ll get the same convenience, color and nutrition all year long.

Your Practice this week: Add one cup of berries to your day. It’s a small, delicious way to give your gut—and your whole body—more of what it needs.
